These special animals have left an imprint on friends left behind. We miss each of you so much
What a handsome Thoroughbred you were Beau!
1973 - October 31, 2005
Beauregard, better known as "Beau". You were such an amazing teacher of accomplished riders. You would clearly show us where we "fell short" of perfection by only giving us what we asked for, even if that was only half of a movement. Thank you for gracing our farm and being lifelong friends with Memo and BJ. You all run at Rainbow Bridge healthy & together now.
American Saddlebred, Memorandum "Memo", better known as "Boo" March 3, 1993 - January 23, 2006
What a blessing you were to so many people all over the United States. You taught us all so much. You will never be forgotten and neither will the unconditional love you shared with us all.
Your loss will be felt by many. We MISS you Boo. You are joined now by your buddies, Beau and BJ at the Rainbow Bridge.
17 hand Appy TB cross BJ
My beloved, gentle giant friend "BJ", better known as "Beegee" May 1992 - February 8, 2007
Thank you for the 14 years of friendship you gave. Thank You for your quiet patience, teaching and love. Few believed an "Appy" could be so big, yet they believed it when they saw you. What a gentle giant you were. BJ, you will be terribly missed, yet your spirit and the lessons you taught us will live on. We know you are running free with your lifelong friends Beau and Memo at the Rainbow Bridge.
In loving Memory of our beloved Old Friend DUDLEY

Indidivual Image, "Hobbs" April 2008
AQHA Individual Image, known as "Hobbs" April 27, 1988 - April 12, 2009
"Hobbs", a horse with a huge heart, was loved for his wonderful temperment by all who knew him. Despite a trailer accident at age 2 that affected his spine, in his younger days he was able to be ridden & shown very lightly. Incredibly, he had lovely movement and to watch him was a joy. Hobbs spent many years at Rainbow Acre Stables with his last several retired with intense rehab care and his pal APHA "Buddy". Hobbs had some very special friends who loved him that dropped their lives at a moment's notice to come help with his special needs during his last years. Hobbs was surrounded by those same wonderful human friends on Easter Sunday as he passed on to Rainbow Bridge. We miss you pal.
Beloved long time friends

Brother & Sister, Lucky & Penny
Amber, beloved quarter horse mare of Dawn Vega's. Amber was so lucky to have Dawn as her owner for the many years she did & to have her half brother Casper with her as well. She will be terribly missed by Dawn, Jeri, Terri, Casper, Josh & all of Rainbow Acres. Thank you Dawn for allowing her to bless our lives.
Our beloved "Maggie", who took her former owner Christine Lindeman Inabinet to many wins as her first show horse and later doing what she did so well after her retirement from competition in AQHA shows - helping more children learn to ride as she did Christine. She was a beautiful and very special horse who was deeply loved by all at Rainbow Acres & by her former owners Christine Lindeman Inabinet, Rob & Lori Lindeman. Thank you Maggie for the many years of blessings you gave to so many.
1991 - 2011
1983 - 2011
Beloved American Saddlebred mare "Dream", owned by Claudia Meyer was laid to rest peacefully at Rainbow Acres at the age of 28. Dream had retired from competition & retired at Rainbow Acres 16+ years ago. Her beautiful high headed trots across the pasture will now be at the Rainbow Bridge with her friends. She will be missed by us all. Thank you Claudia for the privilege of caring for Dream for so very long.
Rainbow Acres beloved cat, "Miss Kitty" showed up at the barn nearly 20 years ago & never left until she went to the Rainbow Bridge in 2011. She & Memo were great friends. She always showed up to facilitate any time an animal was in need of therapy and at the workshops. Her kindness and healing abilities will be missed more than words can say.
"Frequent visitor to the Rainbow Acres "Inn" for 14 years, Morgan Mare "Grace", owned and loved by Tom and Rikki Borgheresi who owned her for over 20 years, was laid to rest at age 26 in May 2012. Grace was misunderstood and abused before Rikki got her, but quickly became an amateur trained fun and fiery show mare for nine years, followed by many years of well deserved blissful retirement. For those of us who understood her "Morgan Mare" disposition, her strong will and big heart will be forever remembered and missed."
